Ron Golden, a 1967 graduate of The Ohio State University, has been coaching and instructing baseball at the college and high school levels for over 35 years. Ron received his M. A. degree in 1970 also from O.S.U.

Ron founded Baseball Instructional Services, Inc. in 1978 and has served as President and Executive Director since its inception. The company began as a "baseball through education" enterprise marketing books and related materials to coaches, parents and players. Summer camps also became an important part of the company. It has grown and expanded into a multi-faceted program including: private and small group (instructional) lessons; a college advisory service for the top high school players; a full line of camps; a fall academy; an annual players showcase; and an expanded line of posters, books and videos.

Ron Golden has assisted many former players and students to reach the collegiate and professional ranks. Golden knows how to spot talent and assist in the placement process.

Coach Ron Golden is also the founder and first President of the Continental Amateur Baseball Association (CABA) which has developed into a major summer youth program in the United States and internationally.

Golden's last coaching assignment was from 1992-1996 as the manager of the Central Ohio Collegiate Baseball Club, a member of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate (Wood Bats) League. Many players have matriculated to the professional ranks.

Ron Golden has transformed Ron Golden's Baseball School into Central Ohio's leader for providing quality training and instruction to players of all ages. The baseball school has recently expanded boundaries into central Florida [the Orlando area].
