"This video is MUST VIEWING for the serious high school player who wants to continue playing baseball after high school." Ken Schnacke, President & GM, Columbus Clippers, Triple-A Affiliate of the Washington Nationals.
Every season a new crop of adults join the coaching ranks in amateur baseball. They have great intentions, but many lack the knowledge to have a positive impact on their teams. While these coaches have desire, motivation and intensity, they lack expertise in skills-training and practice organization.
Ron Golden's approach is unique. He wants coaches to know what he thinks is most important, while simultaneously giving coaches the tools to add to their knowledge at a later time. For example, practice organization is one of the coaches most important responsibilities. Without a structured practice schedule, practice will become b-o-r-i-n-g. Players will dislike playing on the team; even the best players will struggle and not succeed. Structure and organization contribute to a positive learning experience and make baseball FUN.
